IMO USMA/USNA should be independent. And it should be the patriotic duty

of all schools to play them if called upon, given that they wouldn't schedule the same teams all the time. They should play all over the country. Ditto for the AFA--although they have had conference stability for decades out west which I respect.

I'm not enthusiastic about Navy to the ACC unless they really, REALLY want in and academy powers that be make changes to give them a bit more competitiveness.

I love the academies though.
